Dow Announces 2018 Community Grant Recipients in Fort Saskatchewan

Fort Saskatchewan, Alta. - September 04, 2018 - Dow Canada is pleased to announce the recipients of the 2018 Dow Gives Community Grants Program for the Fort Saskatchewan site. This program provides funding to local organizations and projects that visibly improve communities. This year, Dow chose 10 organizations within the Fort Saskatchewan region.

“Dow believes playing an active role in the communities we operate in,” said Jessica MacDonald, Site Public Affairs Manager for Dow Canada. “The Dow Gives program allows local organizations to build resilient communities, which we have seen since 2001.”

The recipients of the Community Grants Program are as follows:

  • Fort Saskatchewan Community Hospital Foundation
  • Fort Saskatchewan Families First Society
  • Fort Saskatchewan Quilting Guild
  • Fort Saskatchewan Ringette
  • Gibbons Family Resource Centre
  • Pioneer House Club 50
  • St. John Paul II Catholic School
  • 169 Glen Allen Scout Group

These recipients were chosen by a committee comprised of Dow employees, community members and local representatives. The committee evaluated the applications based on community impact and the Dow’s Community Success Goals.
