Dow Chemical recognized by Agilent Technologies for outstanding collaboration

Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta - November 13, 2017 - Dow’s Gas Chromatography Centre of Expertise (GC CoE) at Alberta Operations was awarded for outstanding collaboration by Agilent Technologies for its ongoing collaboration on two successfully commercialized innovations in gas chromatography – the Agilent Intuvo 9000 gas chromatograph and the Agilent 8355 Sulfur Chemiluminescence Detector. Shanya Kane, Agilent’s Vice President of the Chemical Analysis Group, presented Dow’s GC CoE for its development input and technical leadership on both projects.

Dow Chemical and Agilent Technologies have a longstanding collaborative relationship, which now spans 28 years. By combining Agilent’s engineering excellence and Dow’s practical and diverse experience in chemistry, the two companies have created a mutually beneficial relationship that has had a major impact on gas chromatography in the measurement sector.
