Enoch Cree Nation and Dow Canada Sign MOU to Advance Relationship

Enoch Cree Nation, Alberta – March 8, 2024 - Enoch Cree Nation (ECN) and Dow Canada are pleased to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to formalize a mutually beneficial process to enable timely engagements and sharing of information about Dow’s operations and the Path2Zero Project in Fort Saskatchewan.

“Dow Canada seeks to authentically, respectfully, and equitably advance Indigenous community inclusion, as we work towards delivering long-term value growth through sustainability,” said Diego Ordonez, president of Dow Canada. “By collaborating with Enoch Cree Nation, we can better understand their needs, aspirations and priorities as we work to shape a more inclusive and prosperous future.”

The shared vision of Dow and ECN is to engage in discussions regarding community, education, culture and business to build mutual understanding and positive relationships. Under the MOU, Dow and ECN will share information and work together to further common interests.
