Situated on 2128 acres, Dow’s Fort Saskatchewan site forms one of the largest petrochemical complexes in Canada. Fort Saskatchewan employs roughly 500 full-time employees and 300 contractors who produce value-added products using Alberta's abundant natural gas resources. The site is home to world-scale Dow production units that produce hydrocarbons, ethylene, polyethylene, and electricity as well as an ethylene glycol/ethylene oxide plant operated by MEGlobal, owned by the EQUATE Petrochemical Company K.S.C.

Located in the heart of central Alberta near Red Deer, Prentiss is home to a Dow-operated polyethylene plant, and two world-scale ethylene glycol plants operated by MEGlobal, owned by the EQUATE Petrochemical Company K.S.C. In addition, Dow has 50 percent ownership of the E3 ethylene cracker in Joffre, Alberta which is operated by NOVA Chemical Corporation. Dow’s Prentiss site is home to more than 120 employees.

Dow’s 45-acre West Hill site near Toronto, Ontario manufactures water-based emulsions. These emulsions go into a variety of products, the biggest single application being latex paint. More than half of what is produced at the West Hill Plant is exported to the United States. The site employs approximately 80 employees.
