Dow’s Fort Saskatchewan site is one of the largest petrochemical complexes in Canada. It produces hydrocarbons, ethylene, polyethylene, and electricity. An ethylene glycol/ethylene oxide plant operated by MEGlobal, owned by the EQUATE Petrochemical Company K.S.C.is also located on site. Dow's Fort Saskatchewan site employs roughly 500 full-time employees and 300 contractors.

Located near Red Deer, Prentiss is home to a Dow-operated polyethylene plant, and two world-scale ethylene glycol plants operated by MEGlobal, owned by the EQUATE Petrochemical Company K.S.C. Dow also has 50 percent ownership in the E3 ethylene cracker in Joffre, Alberta which is operated by NOVA Chemical Corporation. Dow’s Prentiss site employs more than 120 people.

Dow’s West Hill site near Toronto, Ontario manufactures water-based emulsions. These emulsions go into a variety of products, the biggest single application being latex paint. The site employs approximately 80 people.
